Assembly Information
How much space will I need?
Before booking assembly, please check the following:
We offer assembly service in Mainland England, Wales, and selected areas of Scotland. When measuring your space, please be mindful of radiators, shelves, door handles, handrails, wall fixtures, light fittings, window sills, ceiling height, and access to the room. Our wardrobes are freestanding (not fitted). Extra space is required to manoeuvre panels and gain access from all sides during assembly.
Please ensure your room has at least 20 cm of excess space around the full dimensions of the wardrobe, and 3–5 cm of space from either side once positioned. Depending on your room layout, more space may be required to manoeuvre the wardrobe safely. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering.
Example:
If your wardrobe measures 250 cm wide × 215 cm high, you’ll need about 270–280 cm width × 235–245 cm height on the floor to assemble it before lifting upright.
You’ll also need 15–20 cm of clearance above the wardrobe unless it can be built upright (not all models allow this). Please confirm with us if you require upright assembly.
If an assembly date is confirmed but the service cannot proceed due to customer-side reasons (e.g. insufficient space, room not prepared, customer unavailable, parking unavailable), the full assembly fee will be charged.
Will you dispose of the packaging?
No, but the team will bundle the packaging neatly so it’s ready for your disposal area.
Will you take away old furniture?
No, we don’t provide this service. Please clear the area before the team arrives so assembly can be completed smoothly.
Can you drill or fix the wardrobe to a wall?
No, our assembly team is not insured to carry out drilling or wall fixing in your property.
Parking
Please ensure there is free and accessible parking near your property. If only paid parking is available, the customer may need to cover the parking charge.
What happens if I cancel assembly on the day?
Once your assembly date and time slot are confirmed, our fitters are booked and paid in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, the full assembly fee will still apply, and a new charge will be required for re-booking.
